If you’re a new blogger, what’s one question you’d like to ask other bloggers?
I am a new blogger. Less than a month old although I have had accounts with blogging platforms that date back around nine years. Just never got to grips with it. Until now! But as you can see I have not been consistent with a “Daily Post” as I had wished.
I know I should not set my target too high so I will just say nothing more about missed days. I also want to put photos into my blog but never seem to have the time or the right picture to hand.
One thing that I am going to set myself to do is: write my post before I start browsing and reading any posts from other people. Yesterday, I allowed myself to be sidetracked and am now enrolled in a free course to do an “Intro to HTML and CSS” at Udacity.
All roads lead to Rome, I guess.

“write my post before I start browsing and reading any posts from other people.” I agree. I want to write without being influenced by what others have written…and, like you, if I start reading what others have written, I suddenly realize it is hours later and I still haven’t written, and by then I’m out of the mood. I’m retired, so I write first thing in the morning when I wake up and before I get distracted by life. Best of luck in your blog…Judy

Two really good points you make:
1) Don’t set the goal too high.
2) Do your own thing, then read others,.
I guess I would add that it is fun and informative to read what other people post, either on the same prompt or for a prompt that doesn’t inspire you (like this one for me). I learn from seeing what other people do, even if reading other people is all I do on a particular day.

I know. Sometimes I wonder if people are just speeding through hitting “Like” buttons (although I know that there is not always time to comment on every blog one enjoys) but when people like you comment, I know they are really reading!
