Three day quote challenge iii

For this Challenge, the rules are:

  1. Post three consecutive days.
  2. You can pick one or three quotes per day.
  3. Challenge three different bloggers per day.

Once again, I would like to thank Ann of WRITE THEM ALL for sending me this challenge. I have had great fun doing it. I obviously searched for what I thought would be interesting and thought-provoking quotes and along the way I came across so many fantastic citations from all sorts of people. So thanks Ann for this challenge.

If you already haven’t done so, I urge you all to have a look at WRITE THEM ALL. I just stumbled across it one day, you know, as you do, but here I am giving you the link to something very nice. Follow it, and who knows, maybe you’ll be sitting on a plane one day and hook up with a pretty young woman and hit it off. Can you cook? If you don’t understand what I’m talking about the answer is in WRITE THEM ALL.

Now, sadly, it is time to reveal my last three quotes! But before I do so, let me tell you who was the author of yesterday’s three quotes. If you Googled it, shame on you! But, if you just used your grey matter and somewhere in the recesses of your mind, the name Charles Dickens came up, you’d be right. Well done! Now for today’s quotes:

Neither a borrower nor a lender be.

William Shakespeare

The empty vessel makes the loudest sound.

William Shakespeare

I must be cruel, only to be kind.

William Shakespeare

Probably, one of the most amazing writers of all time, William Shakespeare, has given us many household phrases which we all use without knowing where they come from. As an ex actor I have always been fascinated by the beauty and veracity of his words. If ever there was a literary genius, Shakespeare is that man, in my opinion.

So there you have it, “THREE DAY QUOTE CHALLENGE” done!

If you have read any of these quotes and found them interesting or amusing, I welcome your comments.

Oh and check out WRITE THEM ALL

Now, I’ll just shed a little tear. *sniffs*
